Larder Lake Lions 2nd Annual Penguin 50/50 Ice Derby

First launched in March of 2008, the Larder Lake Lions Club Penguin Derby is a great hit with local anglers. An area of Larder Lake is sectioned off and holes are pre-drilled awaiting the anglers who will brave the northern climate to compete for the big fish that will win the derby.

Date: Saturday, March 28, 2009     Time: 12 noon - 3:00 p.m.
Location: Entrance on Second Ave., dock area on Dublin Bay
Cost: $50.00 per hole (predrilled).     Prizes:50% of total proceeds given in prizes

There will be 150 holes available. All holes are predrilled.
1 (one) hole per person
Fish caught must be returned to the lake alive
Longest fish wins. Lake Trout are NOT eliglible. In case of a tie, the first fish caught wins
The Legion will be open for refreshments (hot or cold) after the tournament
Tickets available at: Country Motor Inn Restaurant, Co-op Store, Larder Sports and Marine and from Lions Club members.
